Believe... 52/365

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." - Ephesians 2: 8-9

I'm going to start posting my photos for my 365 project. This is day 52. If you'd like to see the first 51 days, you can go here:

If you don't know what the 365 days project is, it's basically taking a
photo every day. Technically, I think, it's supposed to be a self portrait every day,
however, I tried that and failed after two weeks...
So, I broadened the scope. I take a photo of anything, just so long as I take a photo. :)

Prejudiced

In many of the scattered blogging magazines lying around my house, many of the entries in them talk about the fear of starting a blog because they "don't know what to write about"... Well, that's the same with me, but as I have nothing much better to do except my imposing Algebra homework, I'm going to try.

Let's see, let's see... One thing that bugs me about myself is my prejudice. It's not necessarily a bad thing, just like Elizabeth Bennet isn't exactly doing anything wrong by judging Mr. Darcy's personality, it just gets in the way somewhat. I mean, as soon as I see a person is, oh, say, a Liberal or Agnostic, my respect and expectations of them drop like the stock market, with me bein' a Jesus lovin', Satan hatin', Bible readin' Conservative Southern Baptist, of course. It sometimes gets in the way of what might become a good friendship or a chance to minister to a lost person. But as soon as I see that, I usually quit "stalking" them on facebook (as an example, I never stalk people) and forget about them. It's a good thing I don't want to go into politics whatsoever. I guess one new year's resolution I could make, even though my resolution was to not make any resolutions, is me, myself, and I working on my prejudice "problem". It's not really a problem, because being prejudice can be a good thing, but when it gets in the way of a good friendship, you have to stop and think: which is better?

It's not like anyone is going to read this, but typing is faster than writing. Well, as my last bits of sanity dwindle like this blog, I say good bye.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! (Both belated...)

Fun In The Rain

"I base my fashion on what doesn't itch."-Gilda Radner

My life hasn't been too exciting lately, so there is really not much to write about...
A couple of weeks ago, me and my friend of a decade decided to have one of the funnest times ever! We were bored.... it was dark... it was raining.... So, naturally, we grabbed a stuffed animal, a bandanna, and had a blast! We ran out into their field, and played Marco Polo- (the stuffed animal wouldn't make sense unless you've seen it.. It was mainly lurched around, trying to hit someone)- But not just regular Marco Polo.. It was more like Marco Polo for people on speed.... (Not that I know how you act on it, of course...) We were running around, not breathing from all the laughter, and having a great time! While getting soaked, as well : ) Oh, and his little brother was playing too. : )
What was soooo funny, though, was this: I was the one with the bandanna on, and I finally hit someone... I took off the blindfold to realize why I had gotten him... His mother had sneaked out, crouching and creeping, and being VERY quiet... Right as Ethan (my friend) turned around, she jumped out and was like: "yahhhhh!" Ethan was like: "Ahhhh!" And flew up his arms! It was soooo funny... Although, I really have no idea how I didn't hear the Yahhhhh... or the ahhh for that matter... Anyway, we came in soaked, happy, and exhausted... But it was so fun :D
Just one memory that I want to record so I won't forget :)

Me and my friend, Ethan, when we were 6 (me) and 5 (Ethan) : )

Labor Day Weekend

"Suppose you were an idiot and suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself."-Mark Twain

Haha, that's one of my favorite quotes!

This will, I think, be the fifth, maybe sixth, who keeps count, year in a row where my family goes up to our boat on Labor Day weekend :) The weather (quite surprisingly) is supposed to be nice! Not warm, mind you, but nice! Sunny, 70 degrees (not on the water...), and breezy! :D It should be fun!! Although, I wish my friend could come up, too... But she can't :(

I have to leave in about ten minutes to go to drivers training... blah.
Maybe if I hide under the covers I won't have to go...
